Digital Divide is the major problem in education of digital era. Digital information and resources are available but the variation has been found in use of information due to various reasons. Many time it is found that talented students did not perform well due to unavailability of information sources, in India this ratio is very high. Higher education is effected from digital divide. This study will focus on digital divide in higher education and the role and responsibility of libraries and library professionals to decrease the level of digital divide.
