Let the Rope be Burnt

Abstract

For this research paper, I choose a story from Sanskrit literature, and I translated it into English. The root of my story is in ancient book ‘Bhojprabandha’ composed by the great scholar Ballal. In this story, Ballal describes the dialogue between the King Bhoja and The great poet Kalidas.

Mostly, people tend to keep traditional Padarthas (‘Padarthas’ means a necessary material required to make something) and Paddhatis (a certain way of making something) in mind while making something, but it does not necessarily mean also get success. We should understand that everywhere ‘old is not gold’. In such situations, we should think contrary.
